iWavit Blast! 2013 USB DONGLE ONLY

The iWavit Upgrade kit is for those who have bought the iWavit Basic (with the iWavit Attachment) and want to upgrade to the full iWavit Premium.  The upgrade kit includes the iWavit USB dongle & Lightbar and the executive carrying case.

This Remote is for those who also want a real physical remote, and not just an iPhone attachment. It is a 3D Air Mouse for your PC connected to your TV.

Use it together with the iWavit USB dongle & IR Lightbar to control almost any computer through direct-pointing cursor control. With the iWavit IR Lightbar placed right below your TV, you can now point your Wavit Remote at your TV. Where you point is where the cursor appears.

The iWavit Blast! USB dongle turns your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch into the ultimate  Computer Remote Control (PC/Linux/Mac/PS3), without the need for any iPhone or iPad plug-in.

(This does not include the iWavit IR lightbar, the iWavit Food Thermometer and iWavit Battery Pack.  These are part of the “iWavit Blast! 2013 Bundle”)

Note: The iWavit Blast! uses Bluetooth 4.0 RF technology. It will only work with these models at this time:  iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 3rd and 4th generation, iPod touch 5th Gen., and iPad mini.

This Wireless USB Dongle is needed if you want to control a PC/Mac/Linux computer or a PS3. (It is part of the Premium Kit)

It is normally used together with the IR Lightbar to enable 1) complete 3D motion tracking, and 2) wireless IR Extender functionality.

This is an ordinary USB Power Adaptor. It can be used together with the iWavit USB Dongle & IR Lightbar, to create a stand-alone wireless IR Repeater.

For example, place the iWavit USB Dongle & IR Lightbar & USB Power Adaptor in each room that you wish to control with IR blasting. In the iWavit apps you can then selectively control which iWavit USB dongle to control.

Use the iWavit in a Projector/Conference Room Setup

For the patented 3D Mouse feature to work, the iWavit IR Lightbar should be positioned right above or below your Screen.  In some situations (such as conference rooms or home theater projection setups),  the PC and Screen are so far from each other that it becomes impractical to run a cable from the PC to the Screen.  No problem:  Use this Lightbar-to-USB adaptor cable to power your IR Lightbar positioned near your Screen.

Now you can proceed to plug the USB dongle into any PC that controls the projection screen, and you will immediately have the patented Direct-Pointing 3D Mouse control.  You will also still have the direct RF control of the PC via keyboard and multimedia keys. You will, of course, not have the “IR Repeater”  control because the IR lightbar is not physically connected to the USB dongle.

The iWavit Battery Pack is portable USB battery pack for powering your iWavit USB dongle, in case you want to be more mobile and do not have any USB ports available nearby. The Battery pack takes 2x AA batteries (not included) and outputs 5V DC. It can also be used to power or charge any other USB device you may want to insert.

The iWavit Battery Pack is really intended for use with the the iWavit Blast! and the iWavit Food Thermometer, so you may be more flexible in moving around with your wireless food thermometer near your oven or your grill.

The IR Lightbar plugs into the iWavit USB Dongle and enables the

1. IR Repeater and

2. 3D Mouse feature.

The IR Lightbar contains 6 very power IR LEDs that are used to blast out IR Codes to control your TV AND they are used as part of the optical motion sensing system.

The iWavit Food Thermometer is a metal temperature probe that can be inserted into food to monitor its temperature. It is used with the iWavit Blast! product to turn the iPhone into a Bluetooth Smart wireless thermometer.  Insert the 2.5mm plug into the 2.5mm hole on the side of the iWavit USB dongle. DO NOT INSERT ANY OTHER BRAND THERMOMETER as it may damage your iWavit Blast.  To see how this may be used, check out this YouTube video.

Control the CPS AC Power Strip from your iPad/iPhone.

The iWavit CPS Controller controls the 110V, 15Amp surge-protected CPS Power-Strip (sold separately).  Control each outlet-pair (3 pairs) discretely to ON/OFF/RESET.

The iWavit CPS Controller consists of an iWavit USB dongle, Control Cable, and USB power adaptor. The Control Cable connects the CPS Power-strip and the iWavit USB dongle.

Increase your IR Range by 2X!!!   Plug the 2.5mm splitter cable into your iWavit USB dongle and attach two IR Lightbars.

Use, it for example, to place one IR Lightbar  inside a cabinet and the other near your TV.  Alternatively just place them near each other and you will double your IR range.

This is an IR Remote Controlled Power Outlet (110V).  It is ideal for use with the iWavit Premium. For example, you can have iWavit USB dongles & Lightbars in different rooms and remotely blast IR to selectively toggle each iPowerPlug on/off. See the Manual.

The iPowerPlug has 3 sockets (1 universal with a 3 prong connector). The iPowerPlugs come pre-programmed with one of 10 different IR codes (Codes 0-9) for instant use with iWavit Tabula Rasa app.  However, the iPowerPlug are also user-reprogrammable so they can relearn IR codes.

Remote Controlled AC Power Strip (110V, 15Amp) with surge protector (560J).

The CPS Power strip is ideal for Home and Business use – Reboot servers and routers, control electrical appliances, power electronic devices, control lamps.

The CPS has 6 outlets and a metal casing.  Each outlet-pair is individually controllable to ON, OFF, and RESET. Daisy chain up to 10 units together with an RJ11 telephone cable and control all of them with the iWavit CPS controller (sold separately). A single iWavit CPS controller can control 60 outlets (30 pairs) or 150 amps or 16,500 watts. (The iWavit CPS adaptor cable is sold separately)

This cable is useful if you need to extend the distance between your PC and TV. You can plug the iWavit USB dongle into this and plug the USB extension cable into the PC.
