Programming the Wavit: To unleash the full power of the Wavit and truly transform the way we control (and/or monitor) things at a distance, we are making available for free to anyone who is interested an easy-to-use set of commands for communicating with the WavIt. With this API you will be able to do the following:

1. Read the pointing coordinates (X,Y). 2. Read the distance, R, between the POD and the WavIt. 3. Read the roll angle at which you are holding the WavIt. 4. Read where the WavIt is located in horizontal angle, thetaX (on some models). 5. Turn the mouse cursor motion on/off. 6. Change the stabilization parameters. 7. Learn and send IR commands. 8. Turn the vibration motor on in the WavIt remote control. and much more.

The API is available for download here: Wavit API Rev 2.1

We also have programming examples:

Windows: C#

Wavit Demo C

Wavit Demo LabVIEW 8.5

Due to resource constraints we cannot currently promise to support your programming efforts, but if you really get stuck, do try to send an e-mail to Support@thinkoptics.com.
